An AI operations platform for shipping and logistics

Built ShipmentHub, an AI-native operations platform with 13 production tools that take real actions in the shipping workflow.
Implemented HS tariff-code classification for customs itemisation, deliberately read-only so an operator applies the result.
Integrated first-party FedEx and UPS OAuth carrier APIs with an AfterShip fallback and scheduled re-tracking.
Configured multi-provider model routing across seven models with per-provider fallback ordering.

Migrating a catalogue with confidence-tiered AI classification

Mapped a large legacy EPOS catalogue into Square’s category hierarchy without hand-sorting every product.
Used embedding similarity with a cached embedding store to auto-accept high-confidence matches at a fraction of the cost.
Escalated only the ambiguous middle band to a frontier model for adjudication, and rejected everything below the floor.
Detected and repaired cycles in the resulting category hierarchy before import.

Two AI surfaces on one commerce platform, metered separately

Built a public customer agent that quotes live catalogue pricing, captures leads, and places real orders through typed tools.
Built a separate internal org assistant, credit-metered with a per-tier model allowlist, routed deliberately apart from the public path.
Centralised model configuration with an env override and a hard fallback, so the model can never resolve undefined in production.
Established a privacy-safe production transcript export and a written failure taxonomy for ongoing error analysis.
