Pilot

A limited production deployment with real users, run to find out what actually happens.

A pilot differs from a proof of concept in that it is real: real users, real data, real consequences — just bounded to one team, one workflow or one customer segment.

This is where you learn what no amount of internal testing reveals: how people actually phrase things, which edge cases are common, where the system frustrates rather than helps.

Run it with measurement in place from day one. A pilot you cannot evaluate is just an early launch.

Most engagements start with a fixed-price audit, so the first thing you buy is a decision rather than a commitment.
